Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Colorify ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use colorify.site. By using the service you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account info: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
• Files you upload: the manga, comics, or images you submit for colorization, and the colored results we generate.
• Usage data: jobs you run, page counts, and credit balance.
• Technical data: a randomly generated device identifier (stored in your browser) and IP address, used to prevent abuse of the free tier.
• Payment data (future): when paid checkout launches, payments are processed by Razorpay or Stripe. We do not store your card details — those processors handle them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To colorize your files and deliver the results to you.
• To manage your account, credits, and job history.
• To prevent fraud and abuse of free credits.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

3. File Storage & Retention

Your files are stored on Cloudflare R2. We delete them automatically:

• Uploaded originals: deleted within 1 day.
• Colored results: deleted within 7 days — download them before then.

We do not use your uploaded artwork to train our models or for any purpose other than producing your result.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (a session token) and to hold an anonymous device identifier for free-tier limits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on these providers to run the service: Google (sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, storage, database), Modal (GPU colorization), and, for future payments, Razorpay and Stripe. Each has its own privacy policy.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on reputable cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Signing out and discontinuing use stops further collection. Where applicable (e.g. GDPR), you have the right to data portability and to object to processing.

8. Children

Colorify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
